Today I spent the day adjusting to my new home still, it is lovely and Elaine is a wonderful land-lady.

Today I have toddlers and KidFit.
Today is also moving day, as I mentioned before, Ann only had a 6 month contract with the church so I am moving in with a lady named Elaine, she is a church elder at St Andrew’s and I will be living with her for the next three months.

Today I spent the day helping the pastor clean out stuff and take to the dump from the church and in the evening I have explorer scouts.

Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent. I lead an Ash Wednesday service that evening using the Holden Evening Prayer Liturgy that the ELCA uses for Lent. To learn more about it click here.

Today I traveled back to Leeds, and spent the rest of the day preparing for the Ash Wednesday service tomorrow.

Today I spent the day touring farms in north Yorkshire. In the morning I toured a sheep farm, they where in lambing season and I got to talk to the farmer about lambing as well as help out on the farm itself.
In the afternoon I went and toured a dairy farm, I had a robust conversation with the farmer and his son in law ( who sells farm machinery) about the struggles that the UK agriculture market faces, the impact of Brexit and the EU, and many other things.

Today was the final day of FebFest, I lead a morning prayer service, learn more about the morning prayer service here.
There was no sermon today, as the service was a ” Thank you for the music” service with lots of songs and readings.
I had youth club in the evening, after youth club I left to go to North Yorkshire for a couple days.

Today was the second day of FebFest, we hosted workshops all day for people in addition to an organ and opera recital in the afternoon.

Today was the first day of FebFest, we spent the day preparing and we hosted a concert that night featuring the Roundhay singers and the band FolkOn.
